~ Looking for Turquoise kitchen wares....

How I wish it was easy to find turquoise kitchen wares.  I am so tired of the drab colors that seem to be plentiful. Every so often I will see some neat stuff, that only shows up for the Summer months. And normally it is for outside use. Outside cooking things. Not hardy made stuff for the daily use, for the family kitchen.

~ Kitchen remodel from 1948... with Ashphalt tile....

Building Products Limited - Asphalt Tile - 1948

Oh, my goodness. I am on turquoise over load. Look at those dazzling checker floors. With the white steel cabinets. Black Formica counter tops. What I really love are those turquoise tile floors.

Then as I look around, to see what kind of decorating choice that were made... I see that wonderful eat in area... in yellow and green plaid!

I have never lost any of my love for the vintage yellow and green kitchens. What is more amazing, is how decorators were not afraid... of using multiple bold colors in a small kitchen. Which can not be said for today's decorators. Whom are determine to use fifty shades of brown, in every room in the house.

~ Vintage Jadeite Shaker set... Taste Rite Spices...

Currently for sale.... looking for a home...

Once again, something odd and unique shows up on eBay. This is a great Jadeite shaker set of 9 jars. This set has black tin shaker lids. Some of these older style shakers also came with those black bakelite style lids too. Either way, this is not a common set of Jadeite shakers.

This Jadeite set was sold with your spice of choice included.  An item that would have been stocked in your local grocery store. And the original silver labels are included, to make these so appealing to me.

Currently for sale... looking for a new home...

When I saw them originally listed at 19.99 opening price ... I knew things would be get interesting with the auction. They are already at 110.00 with three days to go!

~ When Pink Steel cabinets was a must have... for the vintage kitchen...

Just more vintage kitchen loveliness from 1959. Pink steel cabinets with turquoise appliances. Love it all.

It would be impossible for me, not to be immediately happy by walking into this kitchen.

Then some vintage decorative choices for that pink kitchen remodel....

~ Kitchen remodel @ 1934.... with Sealex floors!

I never get bored at looking at these vintage kitchens. This beautiful bright kitchen is a remodel from 1934. So much bold color done in a very fun way. I do like these Sealex Linoleum Veltone floors. And how they really do not match a thing in this kitchen. But yet they really do compliment the over all look.

Oddly enough, the walls are done with Sealex wall covering. It is fade proof, water proof and stain proof. Makes you wonder what exactly was in that paint, doesn't it. The turquoise tile was not made by Sealex.

Now how about a close up of that before picture...

And there is that wonderful white porcelain drain board sink.  Which probably was tossed in the local dump, after the removal. For that wonderful new stainless steel drain board sink and matching counter tops...

Then of course, there is splashed of Jadeite glassware, all over this new updated kitchen. At least the white enamel gas stove was saved. Though I suspect that was a hot stove to cook over daily.

~ Turquoise & Pink Kitchen goodness...

There is so much incredible kitchen goodness, here in one picture.

The turquoise steel cabinets. The pink walls. Those sassy pendant lights. With those bold striped drapes. I love it all. Pink, turquoise and white all over the place. It even had that vintage white rotary dial phone, on the wall.

I would buy this house... if this kitchen was inside of it. The rest of the house could be hideous. But this kitchen would be a deal maker for me.

~ Chickens on eBay!

Currently for sale and looking for a new home!....

I just adore these vintage chicken/rooster bowls, that started showing up during the Mid Century years.  So many wonder glass items and so little time to find them all for my kitchen.

These red rooster cereal bowls were made by Hazel Atlas. And everyone knows I have lots of love for all things, Hazel~

Currently for sale and looking for a new home!....

There was a matching mixing bowl set made of these too! But today, I am showing off these wonderful smaller bowls. That do not require having to reorganize the entire kitchen, to add them to your cabinets. Gorgeous!  eBay never disappoints me when I am wanting to find the neat stuff.

Currently for sale... and looking for a new home!

Now this glorious set was made by Federal Glass. I have not see these blue chickens before in my adventures.  And they are just lovely.

Currently for sale... and looking for a new home...

They look to be cooking size glassware. One is a loaf pan and the other one is a nice oval bowl. So pretty!

Then of course... the one set of bowls I am still attempting to find local. Those amazing chicken bowls by Glasbake.

Currently for sale.... and looking for a new home....

I have came across a couple of them in the last year. Both in terrible shape. Missing most of their paint. Cheapest one I saw was 40.00. With its paint missing! Ugh. This adorable turquoise girl, is in excellent condition. She needs a new home!
