~ Random Goodness - Mid Century love...

Better Homes and Garden - September 1958

It seems like it has been a good 25 years, since single story homes were popular with the home builders. It is nothing but acres of two story homes on tiny lots, all over Texas. In subdivisions lord over by their HOA's. That are all grossly over priced.

Look at that amazing back yard. I bet this home was sitting on at least .50 acre. Now homes sit on .18 if you are lucky. And there is no room, what so ever, for a pool and a bit of grass in that back yard.

Or if a pool is not your thing... how about a nice landscaped yard? With room for socializing and grilling.

Fantastic! I would love to own a copy of that magazine, how fun! Oh yes, I'm sure that home is on many acres. You would need privacy if you lived in a home with a wall of windows. :)

The prices seem high to me for the time frame. Cool homes for the wealthy. Great share!
